i want to say something before the streaming results are announced. i will talk about my genting trip the next post.

something dawned upon me while on the trip from singapore to genting. i was thinking about friends. i was thinking about circles of friends. you know, when u are bored, you go to this circle of friends to talk. but for all you know, friends come and go. like what going to happen in 30mins, you will all be in different classes. 3SA, 3SB, 3S1, and so on. imagine withyour best friend or close friend in a different class, you have to find another best friend. friendships are not easy to keep when you are in a different class. thats what happened to be last year. my best friend went to 1B and i went to 1A. and what more, i was the only one from 6-5 (and im proud of it).
so i found another best friend, elo. as time goes on, slowly the circle became bigger, with the inclusion of ck, chen, bryan, arvindh and i think thats all. but next year chen would be in 3SB, im not too sure about arvindh. but the rest are going to 3SA.

friendships are not easy to keep when you are in a different class. thats why special friendships have to be preserved. for example, i have this friend who i always hang out with at my room or at the nearby country club every week. started from p5. and there is this other friend who sometimes after i finish my meal, if i can find him, i will just chat with him for a while, before morning assembly i will just say a "hi".

friendships can be kept by joining the same cca. im not saying that u switch cca because of your friend. like 2 other friends, whom cca are same as me, friendships preserved. if not, im very sure that we would have forgotten each other by now.

so i just want to say want to say that dont be too sad if your friends are not with you. for example, wilson and dj and others from 2a, i will miss you being in my class.

and dont be too sad if you didnt get the subject or the class you get, even if you appealed. Its all God's will.
